When Creativity Is On A Break

I wish I had the will power 

To blast the creative block

So my muses could gush out

With ingenuity incessantly

I wish my imagination  

Were a high-spirited genie 

Leading me to the magic world 

Granting me free rein to the fantasyland

I wish I had faster-firing synapses            

Sending up subconscious inspiration           

Bestowing me endless ideas         

To enrich my verse
