Visions, So

Hum me a joyful tune

A melody, immune

From the ebb and flow of this Earth’s mortal life

Write me a rhyming poem

To know I’m not alone

In struggling with fear, sorrow and strife

Paint me a portrait blue

A scene viewed as anew

Depicting the bright future we may know

So through them I may see

The world as it may be

And be inspired to make those visions, so
