The vessels of joy, the euphoria

Boarded in the ship of his dome

Have sunk into the mournful ocean of woes.

Look at the black light of the day

Reflecting the breathless excitement,

The bewilderment of his children!

The roses of the garden brood

Missing his compassionate palpability,

The holy basils of his yard,

Lush yesterday, have withered today.

Why have the pigeons

Canceled cooing cogently?

The cosmos seems shrouded

At the untimely demise of the watchman.
