Until the End

They vowed to share their life 

Cherished their love to each other

Happily they journeyed together

On the same route 

Then he started to lag behind

Gradually and unintentionally

Their tracks split

He became a straggler 

Staggered in a muddy field

Leading to nowhere

Eventually the door for him

To reach outside was shut

He turned non-communicable 

And sank back to his rudimentary stage

She continued to irrigate 

His barren inner land

Her solitary love

Accompanied him until the end
