Traveler

I view ocean waves

Thinking of the briny deep

And dive the sea’s depths

Picture great cities

Viewing them in my mind’s eye

And roam the wide world

Look at dark night skies

Straining to see the heavens

And fly to the stars

Count out endless hours

Willing them to run backwards

And so travel time

All these journeys

Undertaken with but one power:

Imagination
