The Ocean

As I watch the sun go down from my tiny house

I hear the waves from my porch while sitting with my spouse

The ocean is a special place where I am lucky to call my home

Producing dreams of sand dollars and sea mist of foam

I like to take a walk in the mornings along the beach

I'll take along a coffee and a juicy peach

The crashing waves soothe me as I start my day

I'll even talk to God to keep my troubles at bay

There isn't an environment where I would rather be

This scenery is paradise and makes me feel free
