The Evening Sky

Summer heat rising,

empty unseen clouds in the bluish night sky fills the vastness.

Behind tall rustling coconut trees and bright white light of my porch

hammock of bird’s nest with strains of hay like dark grasses is suspended in the air.

Brightly lit is the evening blue sky in the dark of the summer night

I still call the night an evening because I have started to observe it just now

It is too late to wish goodbye to the evening and call it a night somehow.
