That Love Of Mine

I created this poem purely out of feeling

I was falling in love with this girl

And my poem here is exactly how I was feeling about her.

I meet this girl the other day

Who made my jaded edge twirl away

Cos she has her own special way

Of turning around of my terrible day

She makes all the bad things go away

That minute she said hey

Though she is far from shy

And beautiful in every way

Cos when I look into her eyes

I see pure beauty with no disguise

Thinking about her makes my heartbeat rise

Cos between all her countless qualities

No other girl can compare

This makes her unique from head to toe

Oh! I know the fact that these feelings aren't lies

Cos I wish I could freeze this feeling of mine

But it is deep within and makes me shake at the knees

It's my love for you that keeps going strong

And when you are not with me 

I know nothing can go wrong

But if only she knew

How much for her my love grew

Maybe we could start something new

And I'd never feel blue

Oh! My heart for her is like an open book

This heart of mine she finally took

On that day we both meet inside the bus

So for eternity, I will spend making you believe

You are the sole reason why I breath

Cos my life, hope and desire are yours

Oh! My heart is reserved just for you until my dying day
