Self-Censoring
/If all were born with a conscience
With righteous moral judgments
This world will be a better place
Our conscience the innate
And instant inspector inside us
Constantly monitors our behavior
After an improper deed
With our self-censorship
We confess to our conscience
At the moment of wrong-doing
Self-reproach activated
Self-correction carried out
Blunder prevented
Harm to other minimized
Our society a better one
