Scary Spider
/After walking into the bathroom and seeing a spider as big as a cocker-spaniel in my shower. I panicked and ran out, screeching on the top of my lungs.
I grabbed my son, Miles, and rushed to my sister’s house. Then I left Miles there with our youngest sister. Candace, the oldest of us six, and I went back to my place.
After screeching on the tops of both of our lungs and running out again. I went to the biggest and most buff guy in our building. Less than two seconds in the bathroom, he came out, screeching and running down the hallway like a girl.
” Dam, where’s a man when you need something squashed?”
“Um, talking about men, where Max wouldn’t have helped you, “ask my sister Candace.
“He’s at work right now,” I reply.
“Aren't those work boots in the corner, his,” asked Candace.
I walked back to the bathroom, and saw clothes on the floor,” Crap on a cracker, Candace, I think Max is the scary spider.”
” Oh, hell no, did you try to spell? You know dang well your Latin sucks.”
” I have an electronic translator, it’s just not quite updated.”
” Next time, try calling me, before you do something foolish. Oh, snap, does Max know we’re witches?”
I plopped down on the couch, “he does now.”
She rushed to the kitchen, started digging in our shelves. By the time, she was done in my kitchen.
Max stomped out of the bathroom butt naked, “we will never speak of this again. By gosh, woman, update that damn translator today!”
With a smile,” I will, I’m sorry, and honey you’re naked.”
He quickly looked down, grabbing his package, “crap on a cracker!”
Running back into the bathroom.
“Come on, I’ll take you back home. Sis, thanks so much for helping,” I said as I gave her a bear hug.
Two hours later, we were at the dinner table. Max was feeding Miles when a small spider ran across the floor. He grabbed a newspaper, folded it up and squashed it.
Then he walked over to the phone,” I’m going to have that problem resolved in the morning.”
The next morning, a man came and sprayed for spiders.
