Road

There’s a road in front of me and nothing behind me or at least I can’t see what’s behind me. I can’t turn to look back. No matter how hard I try to look back I end up looking up at the sky instead. I’m in the middle of the road. To my left an empty field with a few dead trees. And to my right are thick lively trees that I can’t look through. The sky is mostly covered with large fluffy clouds. I keep walking straight until I hit an intersection. I want to go right where all the live trees are but again I am stuck. I can’t just go back but I can’t turn right or left either. Forcing my body to do so does nothing but change my view back to the sky.
