Resolute

Sometimes family dynamics require desperate measures. Always be true to yourself.

————

My life was saturated with criticism.

Family members valued antagonism.

I sought freedom and idealism.

My craving was nonviolent activism.

Our dialogues were filled with division.

Their attitudes towards me needed revision.

They all had depressing tunnel vision.

I made a monumental decision.

No longer could I tolerate coexistence.

I activated my yearning with long distance.

Choosing individualism was my resistance.

My journey did not require their assistance.

In my new life, I am resolute to fulfill my wish.
