Sitting

Once again

Park bench

Misty rain

Calls herself

Damned fool

Lessons forgotten

Useless school

Each time says

This is the last

Listen to experience

Remember the past

Then, he returns

Sob story, or two

Heart beats faster

Falls for it anew

Cycle repeats

Promises, affection

Followed by

Sudden retraction

He leaves

She walks here, cries

Goes back home

Awaits a reprise
