Prayer, a Beggary
/People keep on praying
at churches, temples, Masjids,
but for what intent?
We’re always asking for something or begging.
Our mind is overruled by such prayers.
Reliance advances; subservience is nurtured in prayers.
Life is perpetually offering us a lot.
Isn’t the very life we lead an offer?
When you serve the destitute,
You notice worthiness within yourself.
Only benevolence makes you feel blessed.
