Peek Into The Life Of 'Wilson'

I am a Wilson's disease patient diagnosed in March 2017. Wilson's disease is a genetic disorder in which excess copper builds up in the body. Symptoms are typically related to the brain and liver. I want to give an inkling of hope to the withered souls hope through my Wilson journey.

A storm of agony is hidden beneath my smile

My confusing words

as quietness seeps

like a clear waterfall

into the ripples, piercing loved ones heart

like fall green pine needles

You may not understand what I utter

but I can move mountains -

like an oak

lifting the light

from a river

with my soul-stirring writing

I may not be able to shake a leg,

but the fluttering butterflies

come flocking

to dance on my bared skin to the cool breeze my goosebumps

Swaying their clipped wings

in a crescent wedding

I eat with difficulty,

but I quench the thirst-

of love starved people

By clouds gently hugging earth

fog's morning caress

My sweat soaked hands

trickling humid droplets dew

My answer to the world

That

I

Have not

run out of

"HOPE"

because

If you have an indomitable will and you refuse to kneel down against the winter storm...
