Overburdened

Mother Earth weeps for her rising burden  

Population explosion continues

Up to eight billion people for certain 

Overcrowding breeds alarming issues   

Pity Mother Earth for her misery

Borne of human pollution related 

Garbage piles high, the worst in history

Air, land and sea-- all contaminated    

Wailing Mother Earth now cries in despair

For rising chaos in society

Continuous conflict, ceaseless warfare

A hopeless decline in lives’ quality

A dystopian future is calling

Can we stop the dominoes from falling
