Misery With Company

"Misery With Company" is a poem showing how one reaches out only to find people who really don't care...but they're there for a night.

Lost behind four walls, 

a journey begins 

to touch the essence of others,

even if it’s just pretend.

The people you meet

don’t really care,

but you make believe it’s real

just to get you through another night.

You laugh and drink

thinking its all well,

only to wake up the next morning 

to realize nobody really cares.
