Mercy Disregarded

Human beings have always disregarded the commandment of Almighty God from Adam in the Garden of Eaden to Frankenstein with knowledge of science. What if He loses the restrain? When will we realise - Enough is Enough?

O Lord! my Enlightened Buddha,

Is your Heaven not shaken?

Forgotten on earth is all, I see

Your divine precept, sermons and plea

For peace, humanity, truth and glee

Overloaded minds deformed; infected

Hunting for affluence, fame and riches

With artifice very cunningly perfected

Embezzled pelf, accumulated well

Hidden serpents around in social veil

Yet, sane and pompous with modern concept

Decorated temples, mosques and churches

Scholarly lectures and virtuous verses

But souls perhaps with Devil's urges

The delusory transcendence;

They call digitalization

Having surpassed stoned civilization

Trading idealism for 24-carat gold

Emotions deceased or willingly sold

Misery for materialism everywhere, behold!

Mask my face lest I cannot face

The Bodhi - my Lord! You did spread

Accustomed to chase the worldly race

I confess being among the same human race

Let not my Lord,

Another Jesus be crucified;

For uncurbed humanity capriciously changes

Frenzied with nuclears, atoms and missiles

How long such deliberate transgression

Be overlooked or mercifully forgiven?

Wickedness and sheer Devilry

Deserve to be condemned

Is repeated forgiveness not counted a sin?
