Is He Here
/She sets a plate at dinner time
awaiting his return
She holds onto the faith
he will come back to her
She thinks he is still alive
at least in her heart
She believes he is
somewhere near
Could he be wandering
the country road
Or is he on his way back
from the village alleyway
Is he here already
She does not see him
But their dog barks
the way it used to greet him
