I Am A Healer

I am a teacher

teaching the rules of surviving

in a human’s wild jungle

with busy tangled freeways;

teaching how to waltz

among the weeds in a gloomy day.

I am a giver.

I share bread kneaded

with water gathered

from the mountain creeks

I brew a powerful tea

from a bunch of healing herbs

gathered from the morning fields.

I am a seeker

in a crowd - to find

the truth behind

the crystal drops

of tearing eyes of child

that every adult hides

deep, deep in a dark.

I am a healer

of all invisible wounds

that bleed inside like rivers;

dark rivers of suffering souls.

I heal with casting spells

and chanting prayers

under the dancing shadows

of a candle’s glow.

I’m a protector

of the broken hearts -

trying to stitch all little parts;

shield them from the seasonal storms

and hurricanes called love.

My path is hard.

Between light and dark,

I walk with honor and pride

I have the power to be all in one.

If you stumble, I will lift you up.
