/Rose's life brought joy to everyone around her. No one knew her secret.

She was born in a lovely garden.
Her mother chose the name Rose.
Immediately, Rose’s eyes did glisten.
Her sparkle emanated from head to toes.
Her life was filled with vivaciousness.
She brought humor to every situation.
Every moment was filled with cheerfulness.
No one knew about her condition.
Right after birth, an insect stung her.
The prick left a tiny mark.
She did not cry or make a stir.
As time passed, some saw a birthmark.
Rose remained joyful and carefree.
However, her growth was arrested.
Doctor after doctor could not agree.
A diagnosis was forever hunted.
On the eve of her sixteenth birthday.
Her life ended much to everyone’s dismay.
