He's Not On Social Media

This poem is about him receiving messages from others who want to meet him. He totally denies being on social media, claiming it is an advertisement.

Notifications pop up on the screen,

stone cold face claiming no knowledge,

swearing out loud with hateful words,

no awareness of this site.

Messages appear day after day,

people wanting to meet

sending pictures his way,

website still lurking on his phone

despite his claims.

Proclaiming he wants no other,

yelling she reeks of insecurity

having no trust in him,

avowing he’s not on social media,

it’s an advertisement.
