God's Children Weep

God's Children Weep is a story about the saddest moments in our country.  We the people no longer connect together.

Hate fueled protests

fills the streets,

destructive violence erupts,

God’s children weep

with heartfelt sadness

tugging at their core.

Teardrops from heaven fall,

angels gather nearby,

sadness touches God,

watching his creation fall apart.

Scars divide mankind,

separation grows deep,

the link we share is forgotten,

our spirits, hope we find

faith in the darkness.
