Freedom Wish

It is there, in the Square

I went

And all I wanted was freedom

A Right

To choose

But you, the man with the deck of cards

Said, “No!”

“Why?”

I asked

“Why can’t I Choose my Life?”

It should be My

Right

My blood is Red as yours

Look into my Eyes

And see

What I want to be,

Only a Free Man
