Daydream

The song Daydream by Lily Meola inspired me to write on this.

Who blocked my pen? 

And prevent me from writing 

Is it from my venting feelings? 

Wow! This prevent me from replying to your greetings

Who does it? 

Why no rhymes or no reason

An innocent bard of mine landed in prison

Oh! Life is an endless journey, they say

Full of twist and turns along the way

And though we plan, dream and hope 

Neither do we know what's around the slope

Hey you! 

You read my words reciprocate

Your kind comments my pain appreciate

You get upset with the break in our contact

But be assured my love remains intact

Life is just so unfair

Cos it treat us with fear

We build our castles high on air

Cos we all got this big ideas

But suddenly replaced with fear

It says...  How do we get here? 

Oh! The wind of fate came and blow it away

Which left us with nothing to say

We try to shape our future as we want

But it was slip away

And left us to what comes our way

Oh! Life is full of different package

And we never know what it will befall

Cos we are so scared of failure

This left us fail to try

Cos we never know what it will brings

Maybe blessing or curse

A moment of sorrow, happiness, joy or something worse

So, darling never you quit your daydream

Cos it your life that you'er making

It ain't big enough if it doesn't scare the hell out of you

Though the future may seem bleak

But have faith and courage to seek

Though it can make you nervous

It probably worth it

Just don't quit so soon

Cos you are a winner

You can..... 

So make it what you want it to be
