Darkness Revisited

Following the stopping steps

And worsening the wait

Much talked about

Yet,

Sweeping from memories —

Trivial timings of real things

Appear jovial falsely.

The days returning sorrowful tunes;

Journey that recollects and proclaims emptiness

Brings closeness

By tearing the cloth of void —

Distance and upbringing clothed in grim light,

A circle of cloudy eyes,

A drenching rainy world vision,

Words and pages dying,

The damp glory of name unattained,

The high and low divide,

Healthy and unhealthy mind,

Apathy of creation,

These are all darkness revisited.

Rising before the unwanted dreams that swallow you whole

Darkness can always settle for less.
