Connections

There are people around us who are only there for our money or services. Once that need wilts, you won't see them again. And God save you if you ever try leaning on them during trying times. They will certainly fail you. You will realize that many of the smiles you see around you on a daily basis are fake. You think you have friends until you are really in need.

It is during such difficult times that true friends shine. Surprisingly, some of the people who come to your aid are people you least expect. Sometimes they are the kind of people we are told to shun their company. "Immoral" is what they call them. And sometimes,  these "immoral" people have demonstrated real character, loyalty and true friendship when everyone else leaves.

Have you found a true friend? Hold them tightly. These days, it's hard to find people who seek your welfare without expecting anything in return.
