Bounded or Not?

Do bounded folks cherish life?

Ensnared by the duties,  

they rush hither and thither.

Some depart from a place

as if they are forced to;

some rush for a destination

as if they are bound to;

only half completing their meal,  

even not sleeping well,  

even not informing the family.

An unbounded cow cherishes  

each moment of life.

Neither is she obliged to leave a place

nor reach a destination.

She grazes when hungry,  

sleeps when sleepy,

rests underneath a showy tree

because she is not influenced  

by the utilitarian motif.
