Beauty Props

It’s a wonder –

How cautiously a lady applies

ranges of props to enhance her beauty!

After cleansing her cheeks, applying foundation cream,

she needs a blush

to radiate them in certain proportion.

Yet a light is not reflected

until a highlighter is operated on them.

The mascara darkens her eyelashes to undarken them;

the lipstick defines her lips.

More props, cologne still lie in waiting for other body members.

Lotus, despite sprouting from the mud, looks pretty without cosmetics.

Gentle ladies, can beauty aids really conceal ugliness?

Can the made-up guise really reflect true inner self?

When you gaze at the miserable sympathetically,

your eyes glow without eyelashes.

When you approach the slaves with smiles,

your lips glamorize without lipsticks.

When you spoon out foods to the hunger,

your face radiates without a blush.

You look angelic without beautifying accessories.

Then, for sure, admirers flock around you.
