Your Light

As I watch you

move towards your light

there are so many emotions

flowing through me.

The times sitting side by side,

sharing stories and thoughts

as we are slightly now. 

There is so much left to say.

Pray you know

what you meant to me. 

It took time for us

to understand each other.

Once that happened,

we only grew closer. 

As I watch you

move towards your light

I am heartbroken.
