You can lead by example and I'll appreciate your efforts

Staring at you with my mouth ajar

Like I'm listening to you from afar

Rather be waiting by the bar

By talking to me, you're holding up the line

Wish I could mute you and others

White noise only to concentrate on daydreams

Maybe I'll get what I want or settle for mediocrity
