Tsunami

Shoals of fishes trounced

On the shore, splashing the huts,

Washed away clamps,

Sprinkled on the shore, along with debris,

Shore remained as a mute

Spectator, witnessing the destruction,

Thunders struck beneath

To the giant waves, inching closer,

Few small hands were visible

With rubber tires on the surface,

To be galloped by the sea

Destroying the shore, the waves thronged,

The bodies were taken away

By the beast, silently into her,

Never to be seized from

Her arms, leaving without a trace of blood,

Concrete structures were smudged

With boats floating, crying for help,

With no land to run away

From the beast, the thoughts died,

Many dived to swim against

The tide, going in oblivion,

To be left alone from the rest

Disappeared deep into the sea.
