The healed wings are spreading

from the dust of the dead

Of the fiery Phoenix that is rising

rebirth feels energizing

not knowing what is ahead

The healed wings are spreading

the soul is unapologizing

encompassing what has bled

Of the fiery Phoenix that is rising

there will be no disguising

the determination being fed

The healed wings are spreading

not one knows what will be materializing

what emotions are in the head

Of the fiery Phoenix that is rising

there will be no compromising

as these eyes look ahead
