Teardrops Are Not Enough

"Teardrops Are Not Enough" is a short poem expressing how tears are not enough to ease the pain of losing a loved one.

The time will come when we have to face this journey of life alone.

It's not easy, but teardrops are not enough to get us through.

Love twirls in the atmosphere

like there is no tomorrow,

until the end of time knocks

upon our door.

The moment we are forced to face

the end life as we know it,

leaving one by himself

to continue the journey alone.

Teardrops are not enough

to help grasp the pain

of the devastation left

inside one’s heart.
