Snow Games with Bull and Ibe

Animals and dating drama

————

There was a thin film of snow covering the meadow and every inch on the farm. Almost everyone was outside playing in the snow. The calves were, spending some of their last moments on the farm, rolling around in the snow covered hill. The temperature was just right for these activities. Soon these youngins would be sent away to become valets. Just the boys though. Poplar, Hazel, Ash, Beech and all the other males, including the sons from neighboring farms. The one exception would be Holly was promised to a farm near Albany. Bull and Cow heard talk that Holly was to become a ‘stud’. Why humans would want Holly to be a male stripper as confusing as why their other sons would become valets.

The animals decided to split up and play games that satisfied their different personalities and natural gifts. Bull wanted to go hang out with Horse and Charlotte, but Cow was all over Bull about spending time with the calves.

Bull said, "But I can spend time with our daughters during the spring. It’s not like they are going anywhere for several seasons. At least not until they start pumping out milk from their udders, like their mudders. Get it, udders, mudders”.

Bull launched into a laughing fit.

“You know mudder like mother?" said Bull sullenly when Cow just glared with that disapproving look.

Bull said, "Fine I'll go teach'em how to build a fort or something."

On the way over to the children, Bull caught a glimpse of Ibe's ass sticking out of a pile of lifted animal butts. Bull shook their head and thought this was a sad attempt at rugby from the bigger farm animals.

Bull said, "Ibe, Ibe come here”

Ibe said,"Oh, heah Bull."

Bull said, "Listen, Cow really loves it when you come over, and help out with her calves, I mean the calves, calves, you know..."

Ibe said, "Look Bull I don't want you to get the wrong impression. I'm not trying to move in on Cow. Although no discredit to her. I mean she's a great gal. And, and the way she is with those calves. I wouldn't want to upset your happy home Bull."

Bull said, “Riiight. So here's the thing Ibe. I feel like I can entrust you with ...my happy home." It took everything for Bull to not break into a laughing frenzy. "I feel like you have a special connection with Cow, and I want you to ...nourish that."

Ibe said, "Really Bull?”

Bull said, “Oh, yeah, definitely. I mean, like you said, she's got so much more going for her than just her calves. I mean our calves. Um I'm just not sure I see it."

Ibe said, "What?”

Bull said, "Be it, I'm not sure I can be it for her." Ibe said, "Well what exactly are you saying Bull?"

Bull said, "Ibe can I be straight with you?", again Bull had to keep from bursting out laughing, straight on this farm, as if.

Bull said, "Ibe I think you might be Cow's one ...you know."

Ibe said, "You mean I could be Cow's one true love. Oh my. Well I thought about ...but I mean you two are together."

Bull said, "Ibe", Bull placed one hoof around the young Ass, "my friend, bulls have calves with cows literally every year. How often do you hear about a bull who settles down befooore put out to pasture? Now come'on man, you have real opportunity here. Asses don't roll onto farms everyday. This could be your shot. I say go for it!"

Ibe said, "Yeah, yeah I can do this"

Bull said, "If I may suggest something?”

Ibe said, “Oh please do Bull!”

Bull said, “I think she might show more interest if you play with her and the calves today. Maybe build a fort or igloo. Teach'em how to make snowballs or something. I’m sure the bonfire is built between you and Cow. Now just go set it ablaze with love."

Ibe said, “Those are great ideas Bull. Thank you so much for your support."

Bull, wiping a small tear with their hoof, said, “Just invite me to the Stable’s ‘Engagement Party’. Since you are headed over to Cow do you mind if I take your place in the Rugby match?"
