Sleepless Nights

A migrated man!

When you seek to learn

A foreign language incomprehensible

Suppressing the internalized native one,

When you attempt to adopt

A bizarre foreign creed and cult,

Repressing the glorified native cults,

When you surrender to enslavement

Sacrificing your bossy lifestyle

In your poor motherland,

I wonder,

How do your eyes conceal the tears?

How do respond to the homemade cheese,

To the affectionate calls of

Your native vales and dales?

How do you respond your sleepless nights?
