Where the ambers of love

Melts in to the blues of pain

To birth a fire inside like no other!

Purple hearts

Not red like the ones who bleed love

Not azure mourning the loss of love

But mixing the greens of healing

Re-doing life again

This time their way!

Purple hearts

Filling the pits inside with courage

Shedding the dead and rotten

To bloom anew!

Purple heats

Not as bubbly as pink

Half alive and a half more to go

Determined to come back to life

Purple hearts

Beating on the tunes of compassion

Passionately unbecoming to become

A rare mix of gold and iron

Broken and mended time and again

A hero born out of tragedy

Are the purple hearts!
