Point Nemo

Somewhere in the Pacific Ocean

Is a place called Point Nemo

The farthest location from any land

Totally removed from civilization

In the middle of nowhere

It is guarded by an enormous current

The South Pacific Gyre

Repulsing invasions of lives

Rendering it lifeless

Ship routes eschew this location

No one has ever reached there

To disturb its solitude

How wild its ocean waves dance

How dark its starless nights are

Remain unwitnessed

Yet, its inaccessibility

Can’t fend off human’s rampage

Massive plastic waste inch

Their ways to reach there by water

Many obsolete spacecrafts

were dumped there from the sky

This virgin sea has been turned into

A graveyard of man-made junks
