Wrote this piece for my country's Emancipation/Liberty theme last year. It speaks on the slavery of our people and then the celebration of gaining independence. The celebrations of our independence we participate in every year - November 3rd.

Proud liberty conversations.

Colorful are decorations,

Cultural pounce vast creations,

Country folks bask in grooving rave,

Memorable celebrations.

Captivating restorations

Empowered considerations

Honor noble and fallen brave,

Celebrate lives impacted save

Wide contributions to nations,

Memorable celebrations!
