Mark a Man!

Notice sparrows!

They build their nests for shelter,

yet do not usurp other’s nests.

But mark a man!

How trickily, beating the birds,

he constructs a house,

appropriating other’s abodes.

Mark a man!

How quickly he outweighs a lizard

in altering colours,

for compiling wealth and power.

How instantly he defeats a monkey

in feigning for self-fulfillment.

How cunningly, conquering a spider,

he builds a net

ensnaring his friends and family.
