Too many people spend time

Disrespecting differences

Hunting power

Spreading intolerance

Chasing money

Nourishing greed

Living life

At optimum speed

Never pause to hear

Empathy's wings flap

Feel breeze of compassion

Instead rush into ego's trap

If only we chose

To listen to our hearts

Remind ourselves of similarities

Learned to impart

Humanity's hands hold

The map to peace

Master fundamentals

Conflicts will cease
