“What would men be without women? Scarce, sir...mighty scarce.” ― Mark Twain

————

Tears dried on chapped skin,

Born to live as a sin,

Thick blood , water thin,

But born to live as a sin.

'Where you are, just stay,

Never move astray',

Said deep rooted norms;

Said so, hiding cruel forms.

Within four walls,

Lurked melancholic calls,

Walls have ears;

Walls, moist with tears.

Kill your dreams,

Be done with your screams,

Not anymore- said the strong;

Not anymore, this is wrong.

One door walls three,

Running with will free,

Leaving behind broken chains;

Leaving behind, the callous reins.

Tears dried on chapped skin,

This time we win,

Thick blood, water thin,

But this time we win.
