Happiness

It seems this fractured world is well managed somehow

With ill education, unhealthy employment and needful bank loan

Despite the social injustices and prejudices

One is bound to be happy

How happy can one be?

Capitalist although it is, there is flow in the market

Goods are still bought and found

For one who can procure

But I must express that happiness is felt

By those who deserve

Despite hardships at reserve

Like a child happy with a chocolate bar

Bought and handed to him from the market

Happiness is there in procuring things

But it is momentarily.

A realization that one can abstain from

Acquiring happiness which is sold and bought

Is it the happiest feeling of all?
