God's Got This!

Face the storms your life by trusting in God's promise.

If he brings you to it, he will bring you through it.

Twisted and torn

like debris from a tornado

with no energy to walk.

Her tears flow uncontrollably,

bracing for another hurdle

as she lifts her voice to heaven.

Pleading for God's mercy

when an angel speaks

“If God brings you to it

He’ll bring you through it.”

In an instant

the fountain dries,

like a flickering light

the corners of her mouth turn up,

her footsteps push forward

one more step.
