I was listening to Bing Crosby yesterday

on YouTube

singing "Do you see what I see?“

One of my favorite Christmas songs

When he sang the line

"with a voice as deep as the sea"

I marveled at the imagery

Precise

Hard to forget

I reflect on the passion

he injects into his singing

A reminder of the quality of people

That lived in his days

And the legacy they've left behind

I think of the ocean

As I listen to the song

Its might

and vastness

A call for me to wake up

and do something mighty,

with vast impact

Legacies whose creation 

so much passion is injected into
