An Aquatic Coition

I dreamed, last night, that we were in a state of transcendence

But it didn’t’ feel quite like a dream, rather a remembrance

So clear it was -- so familiar, this gifted visual

We moved about and undulated, smooth and consensual

Our movements were distinctive, sinuously serpentine

Our forms were sleek and graceful, with a bit of a blue shine

We appeared amphibious, and moved erotically

Together we curved and rippled, simultaneously

Clearly, we were passionate, intent and purpose driven

Making the utmost of the sweet moment we'd been given

We looked much like the dolphin, but with head, arms, hands, and feet.

We clung together, obviously in the throes of passion's heat

Movements became dynamic, refined, and balletic

Harmoniously demanding, and sublimely rhythmic

All movement seemed to cease, as we reached a pinnacle

No language could be uttered, though thoughts were subliminal

Our heartbeats struck a rhythm as we gazed into our eyes

Silently, we were spellbound – inside were butterflies

The vision slowly faded, on that note, tender and sweet

That I witnessed a dream like this, was both divine and bittersweet
