An Aged Mother’s Reflection

Had I known that

Destiny would force me to stay lone,

Like an old tree in an exposed forest,

Chipping my lad

Whom I had suckled,

Educated in my bankruptcy,

Loved unconditionally to erase

All the humiliations imposed

On his skin and figure,

To make the society approached him with dignity

Away for his material advancement

In my aging period,

When the fed is needed to feed,

The nursed is needed to nurse,

I wouldn’t not have

Conceived of conception.
