A Controlled Mind Is the Key to Living an Authentic Life

Living one’s own peace

A scarred amygdala remembers critical crises 

The scar tissue is mini mountain ranges navigating painful memories 

Raised red levees to remind one of past experiences killing part of one’s peace

The cranial cavity needs care in times of rage, lies, intimidation and unsafe passage

Healing comes from within one’s self in terms of looking in a mirror 

Identifying hidden agonies that rupture from time to time in torrents of blistering pus

An illness of infection of the mind usually caused by the callous infringement of others

The only person that can raise a line of defense is the infected one

We allow ourselves this illness when we fear retribution

For what is retribution but the unsettled mind of another 

The mind steadiness depends on the navigator

I am the navigator of my own mind

I protect it from religion, government, family, friends, and any other human who aims to take control

Perfect stillness cannot reign in the mind of one who is inflicted with how others see him

The reflection of what I see in my eyes when I look at my reflection is who I am

There is none other than me living in my mind, the flight deck that allows me to live in control of my own destiny

Other voices aren’t allowed into this locked domain
