Back to School

I need to work hard and get some grades to As.

So I really shouldn’t miss any more days.

They say that it’s important.

But I wish I were buoyant

And could sneak out into the hallways.

I really don’t want to be in school.

All these long, dull lectures make me drool.

The teacher is a bore.

I can’t stand this much more.

I rather go jump in the pool.
