Summer

Life under the hot sun,

Beach time, waves, sand,

Flowers in the garden,

Birds singing in trees,

Sweat upon skin,

Bees and butterflies,

Rain showers pouring,

Rolling thunder rumbles,

Colourful clothing,

Wine in outdoor cafés,

Burning sunset skies,

Firepits in evenings,

Breathe it all in slowly

For it is but brief.
